MDM Architect, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Jan 2009 - Present

At Cognizant I was responsible for delivering MDM rollouts across healthcare, insurance, retail and financial clients. Most of the projects were based around IBM Virtual MDM, formerly Initiate MDM, and its probabilistic matching algorithm capabilities. On all these projects I was responsible for data profiling, algorithm development, migration strategy, solution architecture and performance testing. For the inbound and outbound integrations with MDM I led teams to develop the varying solutions be they batch, or real-time. I also did assessment projects putting together technology roadmaps for clients. I’ve spent equal amounts of time explaining the benefits/limitations of MDM to management as I have designing solutions for Java developers to parallelize load. Base data has ranged from 30m to 450m records on these projects. On these projects I was involved in the full SDLC.
